CySEC Basic Examination
Note: The number of questions tested in each element can vary, but should not change by more than plus or minus 2.

Exam Key information
- Exams take place twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday
- Exams are computerized and they take place at an examination center in Nicosia
- The application to take the exams is on-line and can be found on CySEC’s website. In order to submit an application, click here.
- The duration of the exam is 60 minutes and it includes 50 multiple-choice questions. The passing rate for the examination is 70%.
